Throughout the design of this accomplished product, special attention was given to the “pockets” of material that cannot be tolerated. The key is the intermediate discharge gates. An intermediate discharge design may be used when there is a requirement for multiple discharge points with an enclosed belt. The kleen-drag gates open perpendicular to the conveyor and are flush with the bottom which means no “pocket” where material will collect and cause cross-contamination.
