Bulk Material Handling | Automatic Industrial Sampling

Factory Assembled • Built for Extended Life & Dependable Accuracy

Hoppers, support structure around scale, and gates are factory assembled and mounted. Bin indicators, valves, and limit switches are pre-wired and terminated in a terminal box on the side of scale system. Gates are pre-plumbed to valves on the side of the scale system. Scale is enclosed to provide protection. Structure below the scale access ladders, platforms, external wiring from scale to control room, and external plumbing to power unit are not included. Optional prices are available upon request.

Each application is unique with its own special capacity requirements, location specifications, materials to be handled, environmental needs, service requirements, clean out solutions and much more…

At InterSystems, each bulkweighing system design undergoes a detailed application analysis to ensure that the system performs to the highest level of expectations. The InterSystems team has the experience, knowledge and products to make each bulkweighing system complete. Optional equipment includes service platforms, test weights, auto life systems, control gates, power units, inline voltage regulators and more.

InterSystems can also supplement any bulkweighing needs with a complete line of material handling equipment, including: Bucket Elevators, En-Masse & Kleen-Masse Conveyors, Enclosed Belt Conveyors, Gravity Screeners, Samplers and Truck/Rail Probes.

Basic Bulk Weigher Operation
1. Feed gate opens and fills weigh hopper to preset draft size
2. Feed gate closes and a gross draft weight is recorded as a plus (+) weight.
3. Discharge gate opens and product is discharged into lower surge.
4. Discharge gate is closed and a tare weight is recorded as a minus (-) weigh. A net subtotal is then recorded.
5. Cycle is repeated until the predetermined target weight is obtained.
At that point the operator will decide to go to "next" car or "finish."
The InterSystems Factory-Assembled Bulk Weigher can be shipped directly to you on a conventional truck trailer. It is completely ready for erection on your support frame/tower.

At right is a typical IS Bulk Weigher installation. This unit is at an elevator over a rail siting. Note the IS Gravity Flow Screener above the IS Bulk Weigher. Note the control room below and behind.
